ANCHORING MORTAR

PRODUCT:

The MAI® -Anchor Mortar is a high strength pre-mixed dry mortar particularly suitable for all anchoring, bolting and most grouting applications. It's early and high end strength ( equivalent to B500) is achieved by a balanced addition of additives not exceeding 0.3 mm.

PROPERTIES:
The MAI® -Anchor Mortar is: - easy to mix - has good flow capabilities - shrink compensated - has a high premature stability at low temperatures - frost resistant

APPLICATIONS:
The MAI® -Anchor Mortar is mostly used for grouting of anchor bore holes or for consolidation grouting of fractured rock formation and loose unconsolidated ground conditions. Depending on the work environment the MAI® -Anchor Mortar is available as normal or sulphate- resistant type cement.

SAFETY:
As per international chemical substance law the MAI® -Anchor Mortar is not considered as a dangerous substance.

STORAGE:
The MAI® -Anchor Mortar is delivered in bags of 40 kg each. Kept in dry condition a max. shelf life of 6 months can be expected.

 PROCESSING:
MAI® -Anchor Mortar is mixed continuously with clean water and can be pumped with all common mortar or grout pumps available in the market.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:
One bag ( 40 kg) of dry pre-mixed mortar yields approx. 20 lt. of ready to use mortar.
